What is Benefits Payment Notice (BPN)?
Once your claim in PhilHealth has been approved and processed, PhilHealth will automatically send the copy of your Benefits Payment Notice or BPN to your registered address. This is a one page notice indicating the members name, patients name, date of confinement, diagnosis, details of your hospital bills and philhealth payment including doctors payment. This is to inform you on your benefits availed from PhilHealth. Once you have received this, compare your statement of account and BPN. Check at the lower portion of the BPN. You can present this BPN to the hospital or doctor in case you are under-deducted or you have any reimbursement.

I received my wife's BPN. I got a code 213 that means EXCEEDED MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE LIMIT. What does that mean?
ReplyDeletei was hospitalized last sept. 10 to 13 2013, completed the requirements for philhealth, but until now I haven't recieved my BPN, how come, it was already 7 months since i was hospitalized but they said i have to wait 3 to 4 months.. what's taking them too long to process our claims?

ReplyDeletehi po.. naconfine kasi ako july 7, 2014.. kakareceive ko lang kahapon nung BPN.. yung amount po ba na andun, pwde po makuha yun o iniinform lang na un ung charges nung hospitalization ko? slamat po

DeleteButi pa kayo may nareceived ng BPN, last June pa ako nahospitalized, until now wala pa ako natatanggap.
ReplyDeleteMy granddaugther was confined last February 15, 2014, then by June, 2014 last year we itself followed-up at PHILHEATH office BUT was told by your staff that the documents forwarded by the hospital was lacking and was returned of the same. Now, 2/9/2015 12:20 a.m. I am respectfully requesting if the said BPN is already processed & approved by your office. BECAUSE UNTIL NOW I have not received the BPN since as you've mentioned you'll automatically send one approved and I think this is already approved since it's almost one year now. Please reply.

ReplyDeletegave birth last dec and just received the bpn for my daughter monday. ang kaso ang liit ng hospital charges na indicated sa Statement of account ng anak ko, 2000 pesos lang pero ang nasa bpn 12,000 pesos ang hospital charges for my daughter. i went to the hospital to ask for refund pero sabi nila wala daw kasi private type kinuha naming service ng hospital.

ReplyDeleteHi. Per experience, pwde kng personal n pumunta s khit saang philhealth branch pra mgpa-print ng BPN... mtagal ksi tlga kung hihintayin mo ipa-deliver sa inyo... Sa public hospital, ung ORs ng mga gamot ksama ng MDR at BPN e ipapa-reciv mo s billing section ng public hospital. Ko-compute sila at bibigyan k ng endorsement. Dadalhin mo ung endorsement sa munisipyo n nkksakop s hospital. Gagawan k ng cheke, follow up mo n lng s munisipyo...
